The only thing factory painted is the trim, mostly silver, which all the HHR's have. Nothing on the interior of the red/black is painted red. Any chipping problems with the silver trim I have, you will have.

I know they all have the same pieces, I wasnt saying yours was going to chip because it is red I was just making a point that the painted pieces will chip because they appear to be identically done as the cobalts. This is my first HHR and i've only had it a week.

Tan, gray and black are pretty much the norm on todays cars. The black with red stands out.

That is the interior that made me fall in love with black/red. It just looked so good on the Viper!
