I have a red SS-red & black interior and the red on the door panels appears to be leather not red paint. Seems soft and I don't beleive it would chip. We ordered this-turned down one with solid black interior that the dealer could get in two days. It only took 4 weeks to get compared to 16 weeks in 1971 for my black on black Z28 !--o6designs-KATZUP
