Front License Plate Bracket Help

So I made it 4 months of owning my SS before the law figured out I wasn't running a front plate

I bought it from a difference Province that doesn't require a front plate, so it doesn't have any holes drilled (just the 2 dimples) I figured I would get caught, but I didn't want to drill holes until I absolutely had to.

Anyways, I have the front bracket part # 22714704, which is for the regular HHRs, but it doesn't line up at all for the SS bumper.

Anyone know what the SS front bracket part # is so I can order the correct one? Or is it this one and I need the grind the crap out of it??

I have 10 days to fix

Just courious, which province is it that you don't need a front plate? The SS looks so much better without the front plate.

Thanks for the number!

I eventually found it on a site but they hid the first 2 digits, so couple tries in I found it

Silly because it was my uncle that works for GM that ordered me the bracket, and its the wrong one

And apparently Alberta doesn't need a front plate...

Had to do the same thing. I hated drilling through that nice pretty front fascia but I would much rather drive a car that is legal. The kit comes with everything u need, including the rivets.

You could make a bracket for under the bottom of the bumper. Surprisingly it doesn't affect the IAT

I have a retractable lic plate on my 2008 Charger SRT, and am thinking of installing same on my HHR SS. I run w the plate up, but retrZct it under for car shows. They make one that is powered, and one manual.

I have the electric one on the SS and it works very well, You do have to watch curbs though.
