Cool chevymall.com

I am waiting for chevymall.com to come out with some more HHR merchandise. A large diecast version of the SS would be pretty sweet.

I like the HHR Bonneville Race Vehicle Pic under their wallpaper section...

I'll check with my sign vendor to see how much the windshield banner will cost. I'm sure she has that artwork somewhere or can recreate it easily. Shouldn't be too much trouble, she owes me some favors anyways.

Keeping my fingers crossed that we don't have to wait too long.

This is my all time favorite HHR

I wish someone here would make their Victory Red HHR into a tribute car and use this paint scheme. It would get instant street cred in my book.

Paint scheme? I'm thinking I need to chop the top on mine (and I have been known to do such things)

That paint scheme is trademarked and SoCal does defend that mark. I've seen a slightly different use generate many letters from their lawyers.

What is their infringement claim???

Best I could see would be "confusion in the marketplace" or "dilution of trade mark" ... but, for the first, if you don't try to tack on your business name, that gets tossed out in a heartbeat, and for the second... they'd have to have applied for a mark on a stripe shape. Doable (reference Nike "swoosh"), but to gain protection on a mark, you do actually have to apply for, and receive one from USPTO. You don't just get to claim one like can now be done for "copyright" (post-DMCA).
