Cool grill emblem

Have the stock gold chevy grill emblem on now --would like to get one with the SS emblem . Does anyone know where I can get one ? /IM sure would be aftermarket .
By the way Im 72 yrs old ,probably 30 -40 years older than most members here -- Just purchased an 08 SS -- having fun with it -- Use it for work travel occasionally . --So its definitely not a garage queen . Think the value of these little suckers will keep going up . Not ready for luxury caddilacs etc. yet .. Rides like a buckboard cause Ive lowered it a bit . Fellow at gas station the other day wanted to know what it was .. He had never seen one before . Roll on brothers !

Check ebay and amazon for the emblem (being it is not a stock Gm part). If you find one, please pot a link to it here - others might be interested as well. :)

My opinion. Most of the emblems with the "SS" in the center look kind of cheap or "ricey".
You could do what several members have done and add an SS emblem to the grille. More factory looking (GM should have done this originally)

I like this -- Is there one that has a bolt & but where you can attach it to a mesh grill -- Dont think a stick on one would work that well ?

The SS emblems for the HHR are the stick on type. 3M tape. I used the smaller one that goes on the back hatch. The door emblems are bigger.
I made my own bracket from plastic and inserted some lag screws that attach it to the grille. The emblem is taped to the bracket.
This shows the finished bracket and the type screws, nuts and spacers I used

looks like you used washers of some sort to attach the lag screws to the back of the plate .

Thank you , Will

Lag screws went through the bracket but then were ground off flush so the emblem could be stuck on. In the pic above the emblem is already attached to the bracket.
The red colored spacers on the screws are there to hold it in place where it goes through the grille mesh.
