Does anyone know where I can get a chrome grill for my SS?

Welcome to the site. That must be you i see when I'm over in Bremerton. Is it Victory red?

I haven't seen a chrome one or any one for that matter for the SS. I would like to see the same design in a nice metal, powdercoated mesh, like Mercedes has.

Don't think they make one.

Some of us have toyed with the idea of painting them to match other color coding trim, maybe the chrome paint for plastic will work with a couple of coats.
You could also take them out and replace with chrome mesh.

I've thought about this and there are a couple of threads regarding this.

There are several sources for plating the black plastic grill. Most turn around times are fast so you might consider getting a chrome finish on your grill.

Do you have any names for those chrome platers? They would be appreciated.

Isn't the SS grill "plastic", like all other HHR's?? If so, a regular plater CANNOT plate the plastic.....it's a special "layering" process. But I would be interested in also knowing the names of platers of plastic.

I do have another idea for you. You might consider this product to wrap the existing grill. But I would contact them via email or phone and ask necessary questions for your application. I have found they are very responsive.

I have used this company's various products a number of times. While expensive, they produce a product far superior to the competition. Look around the site, you will be amazed.
