i'm going to be a gm tech when i grow up...

okay,i think i have found the diverter valve. i think it's the round "thingy" that's goes to the intake tube of the airbox and have a steel braided hose to the other end. inspected the same part on barricade and the plastic part (diaphram i'm assuming)is strong and tight. on blackout it's loose and have alot of play to it. too bad my service dept is closed today. i found some aftermarket ones, but i don't think they have any for the ss. it's a company called hyperboost. i doubt chevy have this part in stock ANYWHERE in houston,so it's calling the stealrship on monday to order me another one.

I hope they can get you lined up today on it. To have a brand new SS and have to sit and not have it for weeks would have me climbing the walls. I hope you get the diverter valve reconciled and have some time this weekend to go put some high-boostin' break-in miles on that beauty. :steering:
