Intercooler

I've searched the forum looking for an upgraded intercooler to replace one that was damaged by a piece of a pallet kicked up by a semi and found that there isn't any current posts.
i'd like one that would be a direct replacement so a dealership body shop could handle the installation while they're doing the other needed work

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Thanks

-Bob

You say you want an upgraded intercooler but then you say you want a direct replacement. I'm a little confused by this.

Anyhow. There have been other threads and discussions about upgrading the stock intercooler.
Maybe try a Search using the term "aftermarket".

What I mean is I'd like an intercooler that a dealership body shop can install while they fix the rest of the damaged parts.

Either a stock one or aftermarket. I see no reason why the dealership couldn't do either one.
Now, there may be some extra labor charges incurred if you go with an aftermarket. Sometimes those need a little added labor time for "fitting".

Best thing is to ask the body shop that's doing the repairs.

good choice! I have a zzp ic myself. They do offer 2 one hangs down about a half inch lower than the oem cooler and one does not. you may want to consider the smaller one cuz it will be tucked away, and this problem may never happen again with the smaller IC. Also the dealership had no problem with the installation, they did a great job as well!
