Just about ready to pull the trigger on an HP Tuner...

But I've a question. When a VIN is "unlocked/purchased," that one can be flashed/tweaked as many times as needed/wanted and not have to use more credits? :clueless:

Once you license it to your interface you can tweak and flash as many times as you want. If the tune is not licensed to your interface you will not be able to write or save it. That being said, you can open your licensed tune and open another tune to do a compare to see whats different. Click on compare/view comparison log which will show what all the differences are and in what area.

If you have any questions post them up and we will help

You're awesome. Thank you!

No problem that's what we're all here for. Also provide more detail, stick/auto, what have you done to it, what do you want to do....

2009 SS automatic, I'll likely wind up doing just mild mods for now, like intake, exhaust, etc. Just need it to be a bit quicker as a daily driver at this point. When things break, hopefully way later on and not due to my own stupidity, I'll upgrade the internals, turbo, and all that fun stuff. For now it's stock though, but I have the 3 bars and HP Tuner otw.

Here is a link to 2005HHRauto post about a 2009 SS Auto E47 Tune. https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/gene...n-57153/page2/

He's done a lot experimenting with what works and what doesn't. Not suggesting you go with an E47 tune, just look for his posts about exhaust and intake mods that do work. The stock intake box works fine and keeps the IATs low.

Here is the link from the HPTuners site that has his tunes, https://www.hptuners.com/forum/showt...409#post401409
