Just got my first hhr ss with 11k miles all black my name Bryan n new here can't wait to start modifying it just gotta figure out what I need and goes well wit it so any ideas let me no be happy to here from ya n glad to be part of the community

I am guessing you want performance mods? Or just appearance?

Also, do you have a manual or auto? Any photos?

Have auto and want both gonna black out everything does any one here race theirs? N I'll post pic tomorrow been joy riding all day between school times lol n didn't take any pics yet

welcome....I've been drag racing mine at the track most of the summer. you probably want to start with a tune(trifecta/GMS1/hptuners/superchips) there are argument as to which is best, but all will give the auto a much needed boost.

after the tune, I would start with and upper engine mount, upgraded downpipe, intercooler piping, rear sway bar, and maybe an intercooler.

as for the blackout, you could spray tint the taillights, and side markers. tint the front windows(back is dark enough for me). black chrome on the wheels..

just a few Ideas, Im sure some others have some ideas:thumb:

So I should tune first then up grade or upgrade then tune

tune, skip the stg1 upgrade it can be more problem than gain.

Welcome to the site BKM0607 I also have an 09 SS and I am just starting to do mods to mine.. after much research and asking a lot of questions and of course reading everything I could find on the most excellent site I have chosen to go with the Trifecta tune...I already have the K&N drop in filter and the TTR rear sway bar will be next :)
