Looking to Purchase an SS

Hey Guys,

I am new to the forum and have been reading a lot of threads about the HHR SS trying to learn as much as I can. I must say I am impressed with the knowledge on this forum and the activity. I am looking for an HHR SS right now and have a few questions.

What is the average cost to get the turbo upgrade? I am trying to negotiate this during the buying process.

I found a certified 2009 automatic, with remote start, bluetooth, boost gauge kit(located on the top/center of dash) with 14,500 miles. Watcha think?

None are for sale locally in south Louisiana so I may have to buy it without a test drive, etc. and have it shipped. I am doing my best to get as much information as possible from this forum to be my eyes and ears. Any additional information you could provide would be great. Thanks

Welcome aboard..... That 09 sounds good, I negotiated the stg-1 in at the purchase. they said their cost was 680.00 . But I knew that before we started, so they paid for my stg-1. I should have made them refinnish/replace the wheels with the curbing, didn't know it would drive me nuts. To the point that I'm replaceing them with pontiac wheels, 1300.00 later I can't wait to get them mounted.

BTW. check it's history well they seem to either be great or there have been a few that were not fixable, don't want to own one of those. Mine has been a blast.

I love the SS.....

Adding performance parts to it is addiction though! These station wagons make lots and lots of power for a 2.0!

The GMS1 is a great dealer installed upgrade...but the Trifecta is an ever BETTER upgrade!

trifecta is a "custom" tune

with a tune and a couple of supporting mods these things can really make some power. a trifecta tune or a tune made with hp tuners really unleases the power

320 and up with the push of a button, add a little 101 octane, hold on with both hands.
