Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anyone knows of an Orange SS in the Northeast area, Phila. Maryland, New Jersey, New York.

I found 1 in New Jersey but they already stuck the front license plate on!
The funny thing is they have 3 in stock, Black, Red and Orange, and the Orange is the only 1 they put the plate on.
Oh well, any info would be appreciated.

I did a search on Chevy website and it gave me local dealers, I figured anyone outside my area that see's one, I wouldn't mind taking a little drive.

i must admit they do look good in the SOM.
and I hate the license plate on the front as well. I've never had one on my 1998 Z28 since new and never will. Haven't been cited for it yet either, even tho it's illegal to go without one here in Cali.

Good luck in your search... I can't be of much help here in sunny So. Cal. BTW it was about 70 degrees here today.

 

I would recomend going to a dealer and having them look it up for you. Usually when you do that its harder to get a deal, but then again i don't think your going to get much of a deal on an ss right now anyways.

Actually, we are having a very mild winter so far.
My wife decided today that the SOM is the one she wants.
We are going with the all ebony interior, and automatic.

eat_world, I will look into having a local dealer do a search.

Does anyone know how the GM friends and family works.
Is it better than the GMS. I don't know if this was discussed on another post yet. If so, sorry for the repeat.

In British Columbia we have a front plate and next door in Alberta no front plate (for now). Why is the front plate on the Orange SS a problem? Take it off?

1. Its sold?
2. The holes will be there?
3. Front plate cars are only sold to aliens from outer space?

The front plate mounts with two small holes. The bumper facia has two dimples to use as a guide for the holes. There wouldn't be much difference in appearance between two black button head screws and the dimples IMHO.
