MOTRV8D: I read that Road and Track article. Pretty good write up.

Offy and Old Ray: The one I am looking at has 4 rivots through the front license plate holder.
Push come to shove, I could just leave the holes and touch up around them, but I am in no rush to buy, so I am going to keep looking.

eat_world: Thanks for the info. Actually we saw a few Red ones, but the wife really likes the SOM. We'll just keep looking. I have a few people looking on GM's locate search.

hogwild: That would be a nice ride home. Actually I might be in Pomona racing, but that wouldn't be until the NHRA finals in November!

MOTRV8D: It really is a nice color. Looks great in the sun, and under the lights at night.

If you don't mind paying for a one-way airline ticket, there are two near Chicago, one in Grayslake, IL and one in Burlington, WI. That may be too much of a trip, but you could break it in by the time you got back home. I do not know whether they are AT or manual.

If you want i have i guy out near Pittsburgh that is great to work with, and i'm willing to bet that i saved about 2g's buying out there instead of in philly. Their web site doesn't show any hhr SS's at the moment, but just shoot me a pm if you want his number. If nothing else it would atleast be another source to help you find one.
