Lowering an 09 SS
I have a set of 2nd Gen Goldlines and was wondering if it was feasible to put them on the SS? I have heard that the SS has a sport suspension that the Non - SS models dont. Is that correct or would it be worthwhile to try the springs out on it?
Any ideas would be helpful. |
just don't try driving in snow!

Will these fit correctly on the SS? |
If they do let me know and i will order some but also post some pics up. I really want to lower mine

Although the SS has the tuned suspension, if it were mine I would definitely try it. I dont autocross my cars, all street driving so I wouldn't notice any slight drop in handling. Plus it would look bad ass.

what do you mean? I had a lowered cavalier and blazer and never had a problem in the snow.
Will these fit correctly on the SS? Then you did not drive in the snow like we got today. My stock GP would not make it up the drive as it was pushing the snow with the air dam and lower bumper at stock hight. I did not even try the HHR today as it would have been nothing but a snow plow. It got so much snow under the car it just finally rode up on it. Even My neigbors Helldorado did the same thing. |
My HHR is lowered and it did fine in the snow all day today, first time in the snow since lowering it too.
