Lutz says GM considering 2.0-liter turbo for Camaro
I'm not sure how much I can post. Don't look for the Turbo 4 unless things get really really bad. Won't happen the first year. The base 6 that I know of was dropped which leaves a pretty darn big six in it's place.
For the first year you will see 2 engines, a 6 & an 8. The first ones off the line will be 8's. The 6's will blow away Mustang GT's.

where'd you get the info?
As stated by Ed from GM:
In an interview Jim Mateja (an automotive journalist for almost 40 years) conducted with Ed Pepper of GM, the following was confirmed: Peper said only the coupe will be offered for the first nine months of the model’s life, with a choice of a 400-plus-hp, 6.0-liter V-8 or a 300-plus-hp, 3.6-liter V-6. He said mostly V-8s will be produced, for enthusiasts eager to get their hands on the first ones off the assembly line.
I'm also not trying to be a jerk, I have a friend who works for GM (don't want to get him in trouble) so I know a fair amount about the new Camaro. I also don't really keep up with it so I don't know what's been released to the public and what hasnt. I'm simply lucky to know what I do.
