Hi Everyone. I need to replace my 3rd set of tires soon. What is the maximum size I can put on my stock SS rims without running into clearance issues. I appreciate your input.

 

Width? Height? Both? What are you asking?

Saying "maximum size" is kind of vague.

Not too sure these 265x40's are going to fit in the front but we will know in a couple hours.....heading to discount tire now.

Sam you should have started a voting poll on this? I say they don't clear. Rob has them on his front, but he had his inner liner taken out.

Crazy Canuck, as far as I have read and seen you can go 245/40 on stock rims.

 

255/40 here on stock rims

 

Ha, turns out they are 275x40 we didn't try one. So I think 255x40 is the max

 

I've got 255/40/18 Hankook V12"s on mine, no problems. "Moon"

I put 235 on my cobalt and thought that was pushing it.
