My Hitch install for bike rack
Just put this on today for my bike rack. I decided to notch out the fascia for the receiver. Pretty easy to do, especially after looking at the video. It's a little tricky to slip the end over the muffler if it's not up on a lift. Pretty clean though, all you really see is the receiver.

Very very nice. What model/type hitch and rack??

Very clean look.

Nice job.

looks great. a bike rack is the main reason why i would add a hitch to my 2lt.
let us know how it holds up. i've usually found that factory hitches usually hold up really well and don't rust but then after market ones seem too. My last suv has an aftermarket and it looked like crap it was so rusty. |
Great Job on the Install :thumb:
I have been considering to do the same thing. Do you have link to where you purchased yours? thanks, Keith |

thanks all-it's a "Hidden Hitch"-thanks for posting that Tom-that is where I got it-ordered online-they were very quick to send it-def would recommend them. I don't remember who makes the bike rack-I do know that they don't anymore as of a few years ago. It was hard to find-I wanted a fork mount one and it was the only one at the time. I'm not sure how the hitch will hold up, but we'll see.

very nice job - will be looking to do the same when I get mine.

Now I understand why you need a bike rack. Your bike is missing the front wheel and unrideable.
