Just installed my stubby antenna from Ebay! Looks good...Dont know how it works yet...Painted the bowties black on the front and rear...I used Mercury outboard Phantom Black spray...Flows like silk. Best spray paint I have ever used...Looks like factory job.....Goldline springs coming in today! I ordered the Turbo Tech sway bar as well...I will post pics soon....Next up, low dust pads, crossdrilled rotors, Stage 1 upgrade (this week) K&N intake...

Yep, that's why they tuned it at the "ring". Only comfy testing done there....

I assume by posting the pic you are either trying to prove me wrong or prove me right. So which is it? By the way there is no sway bar in that picture.

How many miles did you put on the viper, after having one 7 years i would have put about 200,000 miles on it.

oops...
I have goldlines and I think they are awesome. Can't give you a comparison though as I put them on when I had 21 miles on the car. And the car had 4 miles on it when I bought it. Net 17 miles!
One does need to be aware and very careful of the clearance needed at all times. The lowered HHR SS won't clear many obsticals, the lower air dam is rigid and not real flexible. Even car washes (if you use them) tend to be a problem. Forget letting anyone use your car. They will be unaware and do damage. Even someone else in the family.

I'm not sold yet on GL's for an SS....because of the suspension changes I'd think a different spring may be in order. There was a member here that was working on them but havn't heard anything lately. Really really need a spring rate comparrison to be sure.
I'd like to see a 1 in lower stance, still gives good grnd clearance while cleaning up the wheel wells....my LS is about 3/4 in lower then my SS and it has GL's, so to lower the SS 1.75 woulds be a bit much for a daily driver(unless your running 20's).Though with the better struts the GL's may be just fine.Waiting for more input I guess.
