My SS Already has a Battle Wound

I have 2500 miles on the clock now. We got a nasty wind storm in GA Monday night and yesterday on the way to the office an idiot pulled out in front of me. He of course gunned it realizing his idiocracy and plowed directly into a pile of tree debris lying on the road. He sent sticks flying everywhere and before I could get slowed down, one bounced through my front grill and into the intercooler Put a nice round hole in the grill and boogered up one of my intercooler rows, but not severe enough to leak. Time for an upgrade I guess the race is on to see if Hahn or Dejon is theh first to release an aftermarket intercooler upgrade. I'm afraid to call Chevy this morngin to check pricing on the lower grill

Sorry to hear about your damage! That lower grille probably isn't priced TOO bad, but the intercooler... But as they say...chicks dig scars!

I was out in that CRAZY WIND storm, actually on 85, when it blew threw, I believe they say the storm was moving at 60-65 miles per hour!

Saw, flying contrustion barrell, trash, Semi's Rocking, traffic coming to a stop, etc.... Fornately, HHR took no direct hits.

Good Luck with replacing parts, and be gald it was not worse!!!!

Later,
Mark

I was at Dejon's shop last week with my HHR SS and he looked it over
very closely with a view to doing an IC and piping. No date yet- he was
real busy. Picked up some parts and HP Tuners Pro so I can tune car. Took
a ride in his 375 hp GXP--fastttttt !
