The stage kit will allow for more hp from tunes since it eliminates the "learn down" feature.

1000 miles now.

So far, my SS has been a pleasure to drive.

Mine too
I brought it home 7 days & 5 hours ago.
I put on 1770 miles since then Good thing it's been raining or I would have driven around too much
I saved my petrol receipts and did the mileage tonight - 29.4 actual MPG :twothumbs

I passed 4 moose, about 20 deer, 3 porcupine, a bobcat, a fishercat or very large weasel, a racing frog and 1000s of bikers (Laconia)

I got a $75 ticket for 66 in a 40 and gave a ride to 3 cage dancers from The Broken Spoke at Weirs Beach (Laconia again) redXdance:redXdance
I also found that it's as smooth at 110 MPH as it is at 65 (I mean the car, I dunno about the dancers)

I can't wait to get the stage 1 & the running boards

26mph over the limit and it only cost you $75. lucky guy, just got a $125 ticket for only doing 10 over.

It would have been $200 had any of the circumstances been different.
He had to write something because it logs everything over a certain MPH over the limit.
He was a cool young cop that would have been pushing his SS if it was him.
It was in a house free zone between woods and a pond that was relatively safe.
He liked the SS and was apologetic about giving me a ticket at all.
Good thing I didn't get clocked @ 110 on I93 or I'd be trying to get my license back.

If I got running boards on my SS up here in Wisconsin, I would have to get truck plates, as in winter I would be mistaken for a snow-plow.

I think they look way better and they are definitely more solid.
Would you rather have the rocker flares on yours or keep your useful, solid running boards?
