Would it be totally out of sight to get the ABS codes read? It does take a special reader, but not that special; some parts stores have them. The light does have to be on when reading, they don't store.

And don't go by what they read off the screen; get the numbers including the hex numbers after. i.e.: CXXXX $$.

Mine have never said anything on the DIC, lights are just ON. I did take it when it first happened 2-3 yrs ago....and was told theirs would not read it.

I guess you don't dread it that much then.

I know that Harbor Freight sells OBD 2 readers capable of ABS for around $100. There are a lot of places that do have them behind the counter.

I meant the screen on the reader, not your DIC.

I used Adams products once back a decade or so ago, awesome shine! Haven't found it up here or on the east coast, then again , I don't comb every auto product store.

Very nice red!

It's not sold in stores. Online only and independent dealers come to our local corvette shows with show specials. They have great forum and tons of how to videos.

I know about the videos they shot Oldblue ( the pickup) for their spray and shine and glass cleaner! That was in 2007, at the All Truck Nationals in Carlisle PA.
