Those are ugly. With the chrome bar around the very outside of the grill they look so... stick on.

 

I thought it was Special Parts Operations, which had some kind of tie-in with Insignia Group, and promotes the dealer installed parts sales. At any rate here is the site, the grilles aren't in there yet, but interestinglu the TurboUpgrade is (under Performance)

I have seen GM use this one too. I think this one may be correct? It is hard to tell as GM often changes names of things.

 

Note the HHR SS on Ebay with the poor fitting custom grille. It is already bent up.




What is worse a bad grille or the Mack Bulldog on the hood of a HHR SS.

How true! That grill looks like crap. They might have at least done the IC grill to match.

 

That would be hideous even if it were straight.

 

I was all about the chrome on the LT I owned but the SS screams for that blacked out grille. Can't change that!

 

The stock SS grill looks MUCH better than the chrome one or the billet one. Both look hideous. Just because you "Customize" your car and add junk to does not mean it looks better. It may just look like you are adding junk to it. May I suggest dingleberries, furry dice and curb feelers while you are at it? How about the big mudflaps that drag the ground with the chrome naked lady and the playboy emblem? That would make it look stud! Thats what all real players have on their cars.

Look the SS looks good because it has a clean no chrome all business look to it. Adding junk to it makes it look Ghetto or cheap.
There are things in my opinion that you can customise that do help the looks. Lowering is a subtle yet nice looking mod that helps performance and handling. On the other hand raising it up 8 inches all the way around might draw more attention if that is what you are going for...........

I just don't understand how someone can pay this much for a new vehicle to do this to it.

I wonder how much damage was done putting hte grille in. The hood already needs fixed and painted.

Even the Honda ricers may not be my taste but many do some quauliuty work. Don't confuse taste with quality.

This would rank right up with the pimer Civic with a giant wing and the hub caps with the spinning centers.

Even when I was 16 I never made this kind of mistake.
