Only reason was leaning towards Superchips is the 2 year power train warranty and people said trifecta runs too rich

Any answer much appreciated
I love it! it could be in the 13's with a good launch...I was on street tires and almost broke into the 8's in the 1/8th mile with a 9.06..on slicks, she would be well into the 13's

there is other mods to help the launch too..drag bags, engine mounts., etc

If you find those calculator things that convert 1/8th to 1/4, It is around 14.10 or so from a 9.06...and I assuming that it will trap close to 100 mph...if not over

Awesome thank you for the reply, one other question does the budget tune also give the option to have it selected on the fly via the cruise control switch? Since I'm fully stock I think this budget tune is the way to go if it can be toggled on and off from my cruise control! Since it will be primarily for race days!

If I mod more in the future I can pay the $100 to upgrade at that point

Thank you sir! I will be ordering with my April 15th paycheck.
Do you recall how much the deposit was for the cable? I know you get it back but just so I can budget :)

I just did the tune from Bad News Racing. Cable was $150 I have only run it a few days now, but is way quicker then my old (Superchip tune) I had for the last few years.I did get the full tune and Bad News Racing will help you dial it in by sending them data logs. You make a hard pull with the laptop hooked up, send them the data, and they send you a new tune. I'm pretty sure you don't get that service with the budget tune. Correct me guys, if I'm wrong. My total cost was $465 and plan on keeping the cable for updates.
Hope thats some help bro
Note: I wish I read something like this before I got the Superchip

Jczboy your taking about the full custom tune, I'm referring to the budget tune for fully stock vehicles, it doesn't have the logging or the tweaking but it's much cheaper and safe power for full stock vehicles since there's no mods to account for

I'm speaking to bnrRacing and I'm pretty sure I don't need the full tune since I'm 200% stock and if I add things latter for $100 I can go to the full custom tune later according to there website if I want.

The fact that I could get 285-300 HP off the budget tune with the select a tune option for only $200 is very appealing

Since you have been around them for so long do you think I could get mid 13 seconds in the 1/4 mile with the budget tune since I'm 100% stock? If not about where would I be in your experience on that tune?

Also if I do go with the full tune how much gain will I see over the budget tune since I have no mods? If the budget tune can't get me to mid 13's can the full tune?

And last question is it mandatory to have the intercooler piping changed for both tunes? Working on a budget but I want it right and would love to hit mid 13's and enjoy this car for years to come!
