I went to the dealer website earlier to see if there was any listed, none. I decided to ride out there this evening and i was surprised there was a sunburst orange HHR SS sitting there, so i got out and took a look at it and I think the HHR SS version is luring me in anytime, i may be interested into getting a black one later on, but im going back tommorow and see if i can take it for a test drive and see how i like it, or it may be ordered for someone else, but heres some pics.

Did you see what kind of equipment it had for that price?

 

That one's got the accent stripe everyone is asking about. Just looks like simple 3M tape pinstripe.


Never mind, that's a dealer added (read RIPOFF) pinstripe, not the factory applied stripe!

 

I forgot to take pics of that, i was gonna snap some but i was in a rush.

But it indeed listed one stating it has the pinstripe (as seen in the pics) and i forgot the other equipment though.

 

Now we just need a pic of a silver, a black, and an Imperial Blue I would definitely have to debadge the SS emblems. Gaudy IMHO.

 

My Dealer in Naples FL did not have any yet, should be on their way tho..

 

I stopped by again this evening to see if it was still around, and i managed to snap what the dealer added.

however, while theyre closed tommorow, i will go back again and take some better pictures with my digital camera, so you all can have a taste of the orange in high quality



They called it the sandy sansing value pack (sandy sansing is the dealer name here if ur curious)

It mentions the following.

WOW, $795 for pinstripes ? All the other stuff is included in the regular price.What a bunch of scammers.

 

The only way the consumer can fight something like that is walk away from the deal if they don't drop it off the price. They're hoping someone with HHR-SS fever with more money than sense walks in there and takes it off their lot.
This will probably take a few months to play out, you must be patient. They're the ones with the most to lose.
