I got no idea what MAF sensor voltage you think is right, but it is frequency that it sends to the ECM. Should be between 1700 and 12500 Hz, 65535Hz idicates a short or open circuit.

The DTC disables the boost control and limits the boost to mechanical only.

Yes, and I read it all. Thank you for posting that information that could resolve this problem.

Cracked IC.

Who sells an oem ic?

ZZP has an upgrade intercooler.

You'd really be better off with aftermarket. Lose those crappy plastic end tanks. ZZP makes a nice one.

Not sure if anyone has the OE.

EDIT: Looks like Rockauto has it.

I purchased the ZZP exact replacement IC. Thank you guys very much for your help. I learned a lot while troubleshooting.

No problemo, glad to help.

Many people have shimmed the intercooler out, to increase clearance between the AC compressor and the TMAP sensor. Here's what I did instead.

Everything is still working great.

Yes, with interest, thank you!

What does “mechanical only” boost mean?

Donbrew, I now have a digital VOM. How do I test for this?
