I am glad I did not wait for a 09 now with the delays.
It is a nice toy to play with but alot of the info is already avaialable in the vehicle in the info center and boost gauge. Also I may add the Aeroforce gauge soon any way and get most of the rest it offers.
As of now I think I would miss the dash storage. They really need to add some console storage with this option as part of the package. .

You are Absolutely correct, The RPD is the only hold up on the 09 SS's, According to my Chevy Dealership

I may have the same TPW, if I knew what that was, of 9/1 or it may be earlier, dealer is telling me the SS with RPD \"will be in transit 9/1\". I ordered with employee GMS number and was told these orders get priority but who knows, anyone else with an order using employee number?

I ordered mine too using the GMS Number and did not hear anything about our orders getting any special priority, But I sure hope so....
Looks like we all got the same TPW {Target Production Week}of 09/01.....

i have a build priority 1 on my order. i believe any special order with a customers name attached to it is considered SOLD and gets top priority.
i heard there was a small delay on the USB ported radios too. i didn't order the UUI radio. i would have if i knew that it had a built in ipod interface.

The dealer that placed the order on mine had the same issue with the USB radio. According to him they ordered it without the UUI and waited to correct the order when the regional GM rep visited at the end of the month. Instead of correcting or clearing the order they just ordered an identical SS with the only difference being the addition UUI. So when the one I am interested in arrives, it will have a Silver twin with red interior but no USB . . .
