It works, cars altogether now used some camber bolts cause my alignment guy recommended them. fuel lines had some leaks from rust, swapped them out runs great.

 

Why go to all this conversion when ZZP has correct SS 20.6 mm ball joints and OTTP has them also.

 

The original problem was a damaged steering knuckle that is no longer available. Then the SS Axle wouldn't work with the smaller hole in the G6 Knuckle. Then the SS hub wouldn't fit with the smaller Axle. And of course the SS ball joint wouldn't fit in the smaller G6 Knuckle either.

Really should have tried harder to source a used SS Knuckle.

 

ZZP now lists HHR SS knuckles, which are also for 2008-2010 Cobalt SS (“LNF” as the Cobalt community refers to those cars.)
