Rear parking brake cable removal
 

I have searched for over an hour for how to remove the parking brake cable. I get nothing close, so it looks like it needs a special tool to remove it out of the holder. If anyone has a trick or know of a video please pass it on. It is a HHR SS with disc on the rear. I am replacing with all new HD calipers. Fronts took me 40 minutes. Been two hours trying to figure how to get the cable removed to install the new calipers. Thanks a bunch.

Remove the backhalf of center console. It its help in by clips. Just pull upward.
Loosen parking brake cable, 10mm deep socket,.
Disconnect brake cables.
Change calipers.
Reassemble

Love your three rules. Okay, of course Chevy has to be different. My wife has a van that is a peace of cake, my sons have fords that are easy too. Thanks guys.
