Reconfigurable Performance Display

Here are some pics of the first one we got in today with the display. I haven't gotten a chance to drive it yet since it was buried 5 deep with other vehicles blocking it in.

I like the splash screen. Does it match the color of the car or is it just red?

I believe there were about 4 color options for the gage screens but the SS screen is red always. The color of the vehicle is blue with an automatic transmission.

Can you get part numbers for the plastic bezel that sits in place of the glove box? That might be a very useful part for those of us with a 2008 who might want to add their own after market performance display. In particular a couple that looked cool are:

Of course if we can get the whole display option for the 09 as a kit we can add to our 08 then that would be sweet too.

I wouldn't mind trying to mod a portable GPS into the enclosure.

Chevy mngr, IMHO it really doesn't look right inside of the storage box, more of an afterthought.
What is your honest opinion of the mounting location?

Also, is that the rubber mat cut-out to fit in the bottom of the storage box?

Love the gauge. Don't like the installation. It almost looks like a big time amateur did this as a mod. Unless the pics aren't doing it justice.

The rubber mat is warped, wavy dirty and IMO a piece of crap. As far as mounting location, that isn't the ideal location for it but it works. I would miss the center compartment box though.

That's what I was thinking.
