I wish , What a steal !

 

My father-in-law (he turns 80 soon) bought this one to replace his aqua blue '09 panel that was rear-ended and totalled in Dallas. He only had 9k on the blue one...so this one is "high mileage"...lol. He is a 47-54-owns a business selling used/reproduction parts...so the HHR is special to him. His wife owns a jewel-red '09 lt HHR...so the SS has good company.

I told him he was nuts if he missed the deal...not as rare as his aqua blue panel, but still a pretty rare little beast! He feels blessed to have found it and that it was just up the road from home!

I can't wait to get a look at it when we visit later in the month. I hear it is perfect other than a couple of scuffs on the driver sill plate. The past owner was meticulous and had everything done at a GM dealer, so it has a good paper trail.

I think I got myself out of trouble for buying his favorite '49 panel from him recently-he had seller's remorse from what I hear-by finding this jewel for him...it is good to keep the father-in-law that loves the same "old trucks" as you happy...makes getting parts easier!

It is in good hands and will be well cared for.
