This is a long thread so if this has been covered sorry, but why does nobody talk about installing a front sway bar in addition to the rear? Im new to HHR SS world, im coming from a Mustang background so just trying to find out if suspention upgrades for the HHR are done differently. Also does anyone make a strut tower brace, does it make a difference in HHR's?
Some folks have upgraded the front bar, but in stock form it works nicely for everyday driving.
Strut tower brace. Not really needed in the front wheel drive platform of the HHR. Not a lot of flexing going on between the strut towers. Other makes of cars may benefit from one, just not much need for it in the HHR.

AGREED! 3 1/2 YRS LEFT.. not trying to be a thread jacker but i noticed the post about the solid upper engine mounts... has anyone put one on the 2.2l? and is it worth it? is there a noticeable difference in accelertion, like the initial jump?
