My wife ripped off the driver's side mirror backing out of the garage today The whole thing shattered...mirror, plastic and all. :duh: :roll:

Wondering where to get one to avoid bodyshop/dealership mark up. I know I'll have to get it painted.

Take at look at e-bay, painted mirrors do show up there from time to time.

You might also try Schram auto parts online website. Based in MI, but they ship.
Also, don't let the wifey back it out. ;) that works too.

Thanks everyone! Looks like she dropped the red cap somewhere on her travels. :duh: :duh: Otherwise, I could have just dropped it in. I'll have to get the new one painted.

This SS is for sale, btw. I hate to see a nice car get thrashed and I'm convinced my wife is jinxed with cars. (and ultimately wants her Volvo back...:roll:) At any rate, weather has been lousy so I haven't been able to detail and photograph, but if you know anyone interested, PM me. Car has 28k and is in excellent condition (aside from DS mirror :cool: and some curb rash on the rims :roll:)

I'd check Schram...they have lots of parts, cheap. I bought a wheel from them after I hit a curb...

SS mirrors are not chrome.
