SS 0-60 Video

My automatic. The subject came up recently, so I video'd a couple runs and calculated the times with the frame count numbers in my video editor.

Comment away, as this is my first try at this. I do know how to time things with video, at least to 1/30th second. The raw film is m2t HDV, and big. If you want it let me know.

Sweet video. I wanted a red one, but only had the 5 speed in black at my local dealership. My car wash bill just went up.

practice your launch to avoid wheel spin. you may be able to get into the 5 second range.

Was that in normal mode or competition mode?

Would you do one of these videos in competition mode with the launch control active?

Now if you could get another person to video you coming down the road at them at the same time would be pretty cool !

And a couple rocket boosters

Hey, I don't know. It was my first try, and yeah a little practice to keep the wheels from spinning. I don't usually try this stuff, I just wanted to get it down so others could film their own stuff. Of course, I worry about the local cops seeing me pulling stunts like that. I wanted to see if I could use the video editor frame counter to get the time, and it was pretty easy. I see where I could even make it more accurate. I guessed on the parallax. A cameraman outside would be cool. I'll work on that one.

maybe, just practice. i would find a concrete road and launch under full boost. if you can launch under full power and avoid wheel spin, i would think you could break into the 5 second range.
