Is the SS comfy for long trips?

I do a lot of highway driving for work, so I was wondering how comfy the seats are for long drives. I'm also used to heated leather seats that have good support, so I'm wondering if I'm giving up anything in comfort in going to the HHR SS.

I put 2100kms on mine so far, 1800 of it highway, and by far and away more comfortable than my Cobalt ever was.

2 hours round trip for work

Very comfy to me...not as much as my charger, but very close.

I would have to say it is pretty comfy. I have 5700 miles so far and have done a couple 10hr stints. I would have to say it is way more comfy than my Cobalt, Truck & SO's Rav4 were over the same roads.
BTW I have the performance seat which some love & others hate.

Yes, i think it is very comfortable. It is not a Cadillac by any means, but fits me very well for longer trips. I drive 120 mi. per day to work. Took a 6 day 3k mile trip out to Wyoming when I first got it and was very impressed with driveability and comfort. I would give it a 8.5 out of 10...

My wife says she sure would love to have an arm-rest (we have the 5 spd.), and the sport suspension and 18" wheels are a little rough on bumpy concrete roads, but other than that I can't think of any down sides.

Looking forward to our next big trip this fall out to Boston!

It took me a while to find a comfortable seating position in my LT1. Electric seats are quite adjustable. I've taken a few 1000 mile + road trips (35000 miles on the clock), and I'm sitting using cruise at the speed limit and watch the crazies drive by me at 10-20 mph over the speed limit.

I wish the seat bottom was a bit longer like by former Buick Regal GS which had the "easy" chair type driver's seat.

I can still get comfy for a long drive in the HHR.

I just did a 7 hour trip through Chicago traffic and then on down to Cincinnati last night and felt good when I got in considering I worked 8 hours before leaving on my trip.

That's ironic since my friend just told me that the Charger he got as a rental car was very uncomfortable. Of course, it was probably a base model.
