I have a 2009 SS Panel and was wondering if any of you guys have replaced the stock Foglights with HID's? If so, how tough was the installation??

Youll need to take apart inner fender well - reach in and twist bulbs out -

As with changing the headlights to HID, I would assume it's definitely easier to take the whole bumper off, but you have to be comfortable with that- Otherwise, it's a relatively easy process, just plugging a bunch of stuff in that wasn't there before-

 

Somebody remind me.... the SS uses H11 bulbs for the foglights?????

 

Yes our foglights use the H11 bulb

When i did mine i took the whole bumper off its a lot easier that way because you have to mount the ballasts somewhere. I did both my headlights and foglights

 

Yes, it is easy, just give yourself a bit of time. Must take out the inside tire well plastic. Decide where you want your transformers and such. Takes about two hours give or take. I did not take my bumper off though. That wasn't needed.
