Just completed my 600-mile round trip from NJ to VA. Once again, the SS drove like a champ. I averaged around 30.5 MPG. The sweet spot was 55-60 MPH, where I was averaging amost 34 MPG. The fuel efficiency plummeted when I got up into the 70-75 MPH range.

 

See, then that was my problem, as the speed limit in BFE AZ and NM is 75mph! Even in CA and TX it ranges from 65-70mph.

 

Unfortunately the speed limit was 55 MPH along most of Route 13 on the DelMarVa penninsula, and there were cops everywhere.

 

There is another Aqua Blue SS sitting in Florida.......anyone interested???
