Maybe someone better in the know can chime in, but I thought the red seats were only available with the VR exterior.

 

It Looks pretty nice... not crazy bout the pics being grouped like they are. ~

Was 2009 the only year for Panel SS.... thought there was 2008's...

Would love to have a Panel SS.. . ~ but.. i got a 2LT . .

 

The post is correct in that there were only 216 Panel SS built, all for the 2009 model year.

 

Love the look of the panel in Silver, wish I had the money to buy another SS.

 

to the best of my knowledge, the red interior was as with most other manufacturers a choice as long as it wasn't a "clashing" combination. I know i've seen black and silver SS (haven't seen panels though) with red interiors. i think basically as long as you were getting the more neutral colors, and none of the blue options, any of the interior color options were viable options. i know the grey interior was much more uncommon than the red though.

 

Had to pull out the old build book, Red, Black and Silver we're the only colors offered with the Ebony/Red interior

 

I stand corrected. I found mine in early August of '09, so I was at the tail end and had to take what I could find. Color was second to 5 speed, and LSD.
