Stage 1 for every day.

All,

Does anyone have the GM Stage 1 on their everyday dirver? If so, any issues? My dealership has warned me that there may be some issues when the weather is really hot driving in traffic and the car may over heat. I don't want to run into any issues as this is a daily driver to work and back. Thoughts?

Don't see how that would be possible-my car is a daily driver-only thing I've noticed since I got it is that my bank account is a little lighter and my car a lot faster.

No cooling problems here in south FL. Been high 90's with 85-95% hum-a-dities with no stress on my cooling system, but I'm not sitting in traffic either. Just a 45-80mph 22 mile cruise.

Mine is a daily driver and I have been in 90 degree weather with no issues. My temp is normal just as it was pre stage.

Just another case of a dealer not knowing what they are selling.

There is nothing to prevent you from driving daily as long as you can afford premium gas and the stage kit.

Mine is a daily driver that I drive about 80+ miles a day. Hasn't been to hot yet but I do hit Boston stop and go traffic everyday. With 10,000+ miles on the upgrade I haven't had any real issues yet.

Mine is on my daily driver. The STG1 kit provides better gas mileage: seeing 29.5 and climbing for my personal city/hwy average. 70-80 miles daily.

Zero problems here. I was using premium fuel anyway. Shoulda been original equipment!

Mine's been in since early January. Cold and hot weather...absolutely no problems.
