Stiffen the steering?

Was wondering if anyone know the steering can be stiffen/tighten for better road feel and control, esp during acceleration. As is, mine feels looser than I would like and a bit out of control during acceleration (probably due to torque steer). Just wondering if it would be possible or if wider tires would help? Thanks.

Really can't go wider..no room. I take it you have a non SS, in which case the easiest way is to change out the steering wheel for a SS wheel. Its smaller in dia.It doesn't change anything exect the force necessary to turn the wheel..but you have to watch because it also will turn jst a tad faster because your hands will be following a smaller arc...easy to get used to. Another bennie is, now you can have a leather wrapped wheel!

Thanks for the feedback. I have the SS version, but I am more used to the stiffer steering of my previous Honda Prelude.

I thought it to be stiff enough for the vehicle it controls..quick on response but definitly not a one finger wheel...maybe a bit twitchy under full power, but thats mainly the front searching for traction.

I agree, steering should be heavier due to the sporty nature of our SS. Its too light for me sometimes also.
