I have a 2010 HHR SS and Have a stock K&N intake and a catback exhaust on it. I've been having some problems with not getting full boost, been mostly 5 pounds and it feels like I've been having some fuel cuts outs when Im driving. Anyone have any ideas what the problem is or things to do to fix these problems? Thanks

 

probably the k&n intake skewing your fuel trims and either putting you in a limp mode or just generally screwing with the performance. I believe most intakes need to be tuned for. the SS is quite finicky about intakes.

 

Ok thanks man ill give that a try and see if that works out I've heard K&Ns aren't very good for these cars

 

And check to see if any codes were generated. The CEL doesn't always light when a code is generated.

 

I better run out there and take that filter off. I believe you will find you gremlin elsewhere.

Do you have stg-1 by chance ?
