test drove a new ss today

we went to a dealer and test drove a new auto ss,had sunroof,6 disc changer, better speaker system, red and black seats and had 1500 cash back.it was 26,000 msrp and they came down to 23,490 plus tax and title.

Is that a good price or not, they said invoice was 24,000 I know it was less then that with all i have read on the net.

we have around 22,100 cash to spend on one.I don`t want any payments right now :)

I want a 5 speed, wife wants auto..but said she could learn to drive a stick

Out the door, no. They aint going to pay your taxes for the purchase. You could maybe haggle another $500-800. Take it home and think about it - that way they believe they got a serious buyer, and you can think you got them for the best deal in your life!? It's a fun car for price/performance ratio.
