Which transmission did / would you go with on the HHR SS?

Easy, 5speed. No auto's here. I really can't see paying a higher price for less performance also.
|
With the traffic in Miami, it would have to be an auto.:(
BTW.......Existing thread on exact same topic........ https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/hhr-ss-45/auto-vs-manual-new-purchase-13247/ |
Said it before and I'll say it again. Mine would be an auto :thumb:
|
Honestly, I might have gone auto if it were the 6spd Auto with paddleshifters :)
4spd is so 80's ;) otherwise MANUAL! |
I got the auto trans on mine I wanted the remote start. I'm sure that they will come out with a stronger auto trans in the next years model. I like the auto trans in mine it has very good performance lots of fun to drive in town.
whichever model you get you can''t go wrong. |
Yeah! EXACTLY what 08hhrss said about the Automatics. Plus with Connecticut winters and no garage, I gotta have Remote Start!
|
im surprised that manuals are more plentiful, based on the fact that if you wanna buy one in my area off a lot, it would only be an automatic. for miles and miles. Manuals special order only.
|
auto here, wife cant drive stick. ( im not that good either )
|
There was never a choice in my book. I went for the stick: more fun per mile; more power; less costs.
I'd say teach your wife to drive one. It was my requirement, that my daughter's first cars were stick. |
