when you brake you are transferring forward momentum to the brakes creating heat. A non slotted, non drilled will stop the best because of the larger surface area. When you drill and slot the rotor's you loose surface area.

Next up; the argument for drilled and slotted.

Bottom line is its a matter looks not performance.

That's my problem I put some rotors on it maybe 20,000 miles ago if that and they are warped again. So i don't know if it's the pad the rotor or both so just trying to find right combo.

I have the larger SS non Brembo rotors and have not problem with warping rotors, I've had solid smooth non drilled non grooved rotors from crossdrilledrotors.com, it was a good deal for rotors and pads, the rotors are ground smooth not cut on a lathe, good quality got almost 60,000 on them now and no issues.
My braking vibration was my LCA rear bushings shot , again! Same time frame as the first set , 100,000k and 4 years.
I used Moog problem solvers this time very good feel and handling no more shake while braking, or clinking over the bumps and pot holes.

"warped rotors" are not usually warped rotors.

Give the man a prize!

A lot of "warped rotors" are actually rotors suffering from "material deposition" as pad material becomes imbedded in the rotor surface leading to what is properly known as "Brake Judder".

Another cause is excessive run out due to rust between the rotor and hub mating surfaces, causing the rotors to wobble and create Brake Judder.

My most recent episode was caused by a wheel that needed to be torqued a second time after a couple hundred miles. I discovered it after lugs started popping off.
