They help. The one pictured included a magnetic Base, but you can buy them without that Base and just drill a hole in the dash and mount it.
I do need that! lol I do fine in the city but god forbid I try to drive downtown where you stop directly under the lights. My neck gets a workout. lol

i hate the armrests and the fact that i just realized that i dont even have catback magnaflow, all i have is a damn muffler. it is a magnaflow muffler but its only axle back

This is my one main little complaint: The dimmer control for the interior lights has a white dot that's easy to see by day, but it's the ONE thing on the dash that DOESN'T light up..... If I were more adventurous with car electrical systems I'd look into installing a LED where that white dot is and hook it up to the interior lights...

The gas cap plastic line catches on the hook on the door and I sometimes have to work to get it unhooked and the door open. It just seems to want to rotate up and hook.

You just need to grope around in the dark,..you will feel the little grove,... where the white dot hides in the dark..
