Robb is running 265x35 on 8". So I would surmise that 255x40 would be the size to try.

I put 245/40 NT-05's on. That was the widest recommended tire for an 8" wheel. Just because a wider tire will spoon onto the wheel doesn't mean that it's safe.

Do these look over loaded ? They are 255, and I have had 245's (F-1as) that were too wide for the SS wheel. There is a bunch of width difference between tires. The new ones you got look sticky, have you go a chance to apply some horsepower to them???

I've been doing some manual data logging once I reached 1000 miles on them. I plan on doing a review once I hit 2000 miles. So far so good though.

I stand corrected. It was the narrowest, not the widest wheel. http://www.nittotire.com/TireSelecto...Section=street

i'm running 245/40 555s on the stock wheels, dropped on Goldlines. only a tiny bit of rubbing at full lock, other than that, no issues. are you on Pedders springs or coilovers? IIRC when I was looking into it, a 255/40 would put the tire dang close to the spring land on the stock struts, due to being a bit larger diameter vs stock (a big part of why i went with the size i did). I could consult any number of tire size calculators online to verify this, but i think diameter wise 255/35 would be the right size if you wanted the 255s, unless you don't care about speedo error.

You mean close like this ? Remember the card was a little swollen at the time, it just paid for two sets of them.

I think a 245/40/18 on a stock wheels would be best.
