Wheel specs.

Does anyone know the ss stock wheel width.Thinking about another set for winter or keeping stock for winter and new set for spring. If Md gets a bad winter(which hasn't in a few years) wheels won't be in good shape for my high standard with looks.

18 X 7.5

16 inch wheels will fit with standard brakes but I am not sure on the Brembo option.

The offset would also probably come into play...although I don't know what the stock offset is.

I have read else were the standard brakes are good on SS. I will call the wheel company Monday to confirm.

Also I will test fit the first one just to make sure in Sept when I buy and before I paint them. I will post the results. I have a lot of OT in Sept that is when I will buy the wheels.

Also I hope to have mine back this coming week with the new bumper.

The SS is not that different with the standard brake package.

I will post what the MFG said Monday.

I ordered the Blizzaks from tire rack this morning. I choose the 225 55 16 for $58 . The steelies were $45 but I went with the aluminum wheels for $99 (better look for an extra $200). I also had them but the sensors in for $184 all 4 wheels, so I won`t get the message showing on the dash. They mount and balance for free. I have a Package company in Niagara Falls NY where I ship my items I buy in the US. They will be there Wednesday

Can`t keep buying them and putting them away for winter. The garage is full and it will be nice to drive some thing other than a sh*t box for a winter driver. 15 years ago I bought a Typhoon and told the wife it would be good to buy cause it has 4 wheel drive for the snow.(truck has never seen a flake) She won`t fall for that again.
