License Plate Lights Replacement Help

I looked around on this site, and I havn't seen anyone mention it. I noticed the other day that there are two tiny light bulbs near the rear hatch door opener that light up the liscene plate (i assume. Ha, im never beind my car whiel its running).
So my question is does anyone know how to remove them, or waht size they are for a possible replacement. I was thinking some blue lights would accent the plate nicely. THANKS!

License Plate Lamp

To replace one of these bulbs, do the following:
1. Remove the two screws holding each of
the license plate lamps to the fascia.
2. Turn and pull the license plate lamp forward
through the fascia opening.3. Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise and
pull the bulb straight out of the socket.
4. Install the new bulb.
5. Reverse Steps 1 through 3 to reinstall the license plate lamp.

Check your state laws first. Most if not all states require the tag lights to be white. Just want to save you from getting pulled over.

Thumbs up 'hyper white'

I put a set of the 'hyper white' bulbs in from Pep Boys...they give a very nice glow to the plate, a much nicer look than the stock yellowish colored bulb. This is the first mod I do on every car I buy...I don't know if they are legal, but I haven't been pulled over in the many years I have been using them on my rides!

I used the same LED's as Chad. They have a nice blue tint to them and very easy to install.
