Wax your HHR
 
Here a tips when you wax your HHR,

Apply masking tape on vinyl & rubber trims and strippe, that way you wont have white depot of dry wax that doen want to come of....

Just easier to use Mother's Back to Black IMHO.

That's a good tip for most waxes.However,I use Turtle Wax Ice and it is clear and can be applied to all surfaces except the glass.Works great.:smile:

You should wax your stripes. Then take a small brush and clean it.

After a will the wax get in your stripe and scrap them, it better to not apply wax on stripping if you can, well that my opinion....;)

:cool: My friend is a detailer and I bought some stuff called System One from him. It can be used on everything, including the glass and all the trim, except leather of course. Makes everything look like new again. He has a shop in downtown Rancho Santa Fe , lots of money at The Ranch. Some very expensive cars come thru there. Anyway the product is amazing. Unfortunately it isn't available on the market. Take a look at my gallery and see for your self:one:

me 2...You can get it on all of the black surfaces, and nothing is left behind...I think it is actually a good thing to put a little protection on the black surfaces anyhow...:thumb:

When I purchased my HHR I bought some type of paint protector that supposedly protects your paint for five years and you don't have to wax it. I know I know how do you spell s....u...c...k...e...r!!!!!

Same here. I mave most of the Turtle Wax Ice products (car wash, liquid clay Bar, paste polish, liquid polish). Only one I don't have is the detailer.

Next weekend is a long weekend for us folks north of the border. I plan on giving Spyro a good cleaning.
