I can confirm up until they were picked up, they were new in box, and according to Ray at Canuck Motorsports, they are the last set . They are now discontinued. So if you’re thinking about lowering your HHR , these are prefect.

I was thinking about it, but Sweetie vetoed it and she is the COF in our house. That’s why she has a $48,000.00 Terrain and I drive a 9 year old HHR!

Is there catalog info available on this particular spring? Where would I use it? I surmise these are rear spring although nothing here says so.

I’m trying to get my head around options for lowering three different cars, an FE1, an FE3, and an FE5. It’s frustrating because everyone talks about ride height and no one talks about spring rate, which will have more influence on handing characteristics. As a designer I have a hard time getting myself to change a spring without knowing the free height, rate, and any progressive characteristics, for both the original and the replacement. Knowing fully compressed height, would be nice too, but often doesn’t matter.

Spring rate is equivalent to the FE3, these springs are awesome I put 250,000 miles on the set in Oldblue

They leveled and lowered Oldblue

They handled awesomely no bottoming out

As I said lowered the rear , a full 2 inches

Pretty sure this is a full set of four... A "Lowering set" is all four.

A "leveling set" would be just the two rears.

Yes, that’s correct, Greybeard, these are the full set of four springs.
I just searched for Canuck Motorsports and their website doesn’t come up, it is possible they have closed up their website and business due to the Pandemic, it wiped out many businesses since March.

Thanks. That helps clarify.

Also Old Blue, thanks, cool pics. Do you think my wife would object to the firmer ride these would impart on her 2011 LS FE1? She’s an enthusiastic driver but complains now about ride. She thinks it needs new shocks. The car has less than 70k miles but she’s not wrong. Putting in some KYB’s would be the perfect time to slide the springs in. (I can blame any changes on the shocks SHE wanted.) Then there’s the problem of getting ‘em to Ohio. Have no idea if that’s even possible. Expecting Canada to start construction on a wall any day now😂😷

I ran KYB’s with these springs not a harsh ride at all, 3 adults and our luggage a very comfortable ride to Florida and back . My 2007 LS started off FE1, and these Canuck’s were an awesome improvement in ride quality!
We are not building a wall! Shipments still go through to the US of A no problem
