Chevy HHR Network - 2007 Sunburst Orange LS stick shift

Hello, I am posting here preparatory to posting my speaker replacement story. My car has been a gem- minimal maintenance. Synthetic oil, I reset the counter once before I do a change. Front brakes wore out at 96000 miles, first brake job- new pads and turn the rotors (Midas). I recently replaced the driver's side sway bar end link- the famous knocking sound. It was such a bear with my meager tools that I put the passenger side part on the shelf until needed. Never been aligned- tires wear perfectly. Been hit twice and repaired- not impressed with two different body shops. I recently removed the seats (after market leather) and took the carpet up to pressure wash and cut away the foam (dog pee). Lined the floor with rubber matting, replaced carpet, smells great. The only problem I have had is the speakers and the radio. Radio quit once, completely dead, but it came back. Speakers are just crap, so I am putting in Pioneers from Wally World. Oh, and the key fobs- new membrane for 5 bucks on EBay.
